@brett how much do they eat? does it have a noticable effect on the garden at all? not that you would mind, I guess.

@CaraBruar @brett They mainly eat grass but you see them nibbling on various bushes as well. I guess they like a bit of variety. They appreciate the special macropod pellets we buy for them too. And they certainly enjoy birdseed if they get the chance.

@brett @brett interesting, I thought they only ate grass. The birdseed is a surprise.

@CaraBruar yes they’re quite partial to grains which is what the pellets mainly are. They are a ruminant so as long as the grains are introduced to them gradually and they still have access to plenty of roughage they thrive on them.

@brett interesting, I'm quite surprised there's a market for macropod pellets, but glad your local friends are so well looked after.
