@ashkyd lol, no - I did not buy any dolls on this trip! Such adult.

However, I recently discovered that there are kits to build your own reproduction Karakuri - a fact that I am trying to forget.

@pori @ashkyd oh my goodness I just discovered there is a detailed manual with schematics for many of these dolls published in Japan in 1796, and it has been translated into English. This must be done!
